MARCH HIGHLIGHTS

March was a a month of highlights.

It kicked off with the last workshops being delivered to a fabulous group of budding entrepreneurs, with inspiring business plans.

Shortly followed by the Good2Great Start Up Awards event.

This event held during the Shropshire Business Festival, at Telford International Centre recognised the achievements of new businesses across the region - Shropshire, South Staffordshire and Dudley Borough that had sucessfully been through the Business Foundation programme and continued to thrive in their communities.

Categories included - Best Product, Best Service, Social and Environmental impact. Keli King from the The Little Green Pantry was crowned Start Up Champion.

Later in the month, THRIVE had the honour of being invited to the royal visit by the Duke of Edinburgh at OSNOSH.

Based at The Centre in Oswestry they provide a Community Cafe, along with food events and education. Local school children prepared a delicious lunch and the Duke of Edinburgh took the time to talk to everyone - staff, volunteers, school children and visitors.

What a way to celebrate the success and valuable contribution this organisation makes in the Shropshire community.
