Sarah Hooper is the Founder of Thrive and formed Thrive from a desire to inspire and improve business success and support SME owners.​

Sarah has worked for over 20 years with business owners in the environmental, digital publishing, distribution, agricultural, planning and finance sectors, supporting them with administration, finance and HR management to seek ethical, sustainable people solutions and business success.

As a HR Generalist Sarah has experienced people issues through every stage of the employee lifecycle, and is a huge believer of the positive impact of good workforce wellbeing and positive culture.

As a Shropshire lass, Sarah’s heart stays very closely connected to helping people in her home county. Now living on the Welsh border, Sarah is supporting people around the border towns too.

As a voluntary Enterprise Adviser, connected with a local school, she has an vested interest in boosting the local labour market by supporting the local Careers Hub, Council and school Careers Leader to connect students to businesses in the area.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking her beagle Gwen in the countryside, a drink in the local and finding great places to eat.
